Dear Friends of Ukraine, join us on SATURDAY (or Sunday) for our USUA Weekly White House Rallies, #StandWithUkraineEveryDay, organized by US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) - the daily White House Rallies organizer for 1.5 years since the full-scale invasion began on Feb. 24, 2022.
In case of inclement weather on Saturday (or if there's a conflict in the schedule of our USUA events), please watch for our announcements as we may hold the rally on Sunday instead.
HEARING: Russia’s Persecution of Ukrainian Christians
Independent Ukraine has enjoyed a robust tradition of religious freedom. As such, Ukrainians today represent a variety of faiths, including many Christian denominations. Unfortunately, Russia—which has little tolerance for independent belief systems within its own borders—has exported its worst practices to the territories it occupies in Ukraine. Russia has engaged in routine kidnapping, hostage-taking, violence against civilians, and suppression of Ukrainian culture and language. Occupying authorities under orders from the Kremlin have been particularly harsh toward Protestant Christians and institutions, often painting them as agents of the United States.

On July 7, US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) advocated for #NatoMembershipForUkraine at the White House during our USUA Weekly Rally #StandWithUkraineEveryDay.
Many passersby expressed their support for Ukraine with "Glory to Ukraine" and thumbs up. We are thankful to an American family from Miami, Florida, a Ukrainian-American who moved to the USA from Kyiv more than 20 years ago, and other supporters of Ukraine for joining us at the rally.
