USUA has several projects that aim to assist internally displaces persons (IDPs) in Ukraine. One of them is City of Goodness (www.misto-dobra.com.ua) in Chernivtsi. It is a support center for women and children escaping abuse and domestic violence that has now opened its doors to those who is fleeing the war; it is currently hosting an evacuated orphanage.
USUA activists purchased gifts for 76 children and transferred money to the Ukrainian Public Organization, International Association "Chas Zhinky" ("Час Жінки") to purchase gifts for 20 more kids. All Christmas gifts were delivered to children in person by "Chas Zhinky" ("Час Жінки") before St. Nicholas Day on Dec. 19, 2021.
