
Make Ukraine Heard in Washington DC
US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) has been producing, organizing, and hosting the annual DC Celebrates Ukraine’s Independence Day event in the heart of our nation’s capital since 2022.
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, we will once again bring together friends of Ukraine, the Ukrainian-American community, and diplomats to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day and make Ukraine’s voice heard in Washington DC.
Our four-part event includes: Official Program • Giant Ukrainian Flag • March • Concert
Together, after the official program, we will unfold our GIANT UKRAINIAN FLAG (33×46 ft / 10×14 m) and march with it. The march will be followed by a concert celebrating Ukraine, its culture, freedom, and resilience.
Our event is organized by volunteers, and your contribution will help cover the essential costs of making this large public celebration possible.
We need to raise at least $2,500 to help cover essential event expenses:
