CONCERT: DC Celebrates Ukraine’s Independence Day!

On Saturday, August 22, for the fifth year in a row, US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) is bringing together supporters of Ukraine, the Ukrainian diaspora, and local Ukrainian-American groups and organizations to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence Day in Washington D.C.

This three-part event tradition was founded in 2022 by Nadiya Shaporynska, President of US Ukrainian Activists (USUA), and has been organized and produced annually by her and USUA ever since. It consists of a Mass Rally, March, and Concert.

Please join us at the CONCERT from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial to celebrate Ukraine’s Culture and Heritage and honor Ukraine’s struggle for Freedom and Independence.

Please join us BEFORE the concert for:

• The Lincoln Memorial Rally (5:30 – 6:15 PM)
• The Unfolding of a Giant Ukrainian Flag
• March with the Giant Ukrainian Flag around the Reflecting Pool and back to the Lincoln Memorial in support of Ukraine (6:15 – 7:00 PM)
