Dear Friends of Ukraine,
Please join us on Sunday, May 11, at 6 p.m. for the 4th Annual Sunflower Planting Event in support of Ukraine, held outside the war crimes russia’s embassy in Washington, D.C.
EVENT: 4th Annual Sunflower Planting
WHEN: Sunday, May 11
TIME: 6p.m. — 7:30p.m.
WHERE: Boris Nemtsov Plaza, Washington, D.C. (across from russia’s embassy)

US Ukrainian Activists (USUA), Connor O’Brien, Benjamin Wittes, and Nadiya Shaporynska
The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and a powerful symbol of Ukraine’s ongoing struggle for freedom.
Despite russia’s repeated attempts to colonize, erase, and destroy the Ukrainian nation, Ukrainians will never stop defending their right to life and liberty.
All are welcome to join this meaningful community event!
Bring along (if you can):
– Mature sunflower seedlings
– Garden/potting soil
– Shovels, pickaxes, and other gardening tools
– Gloves
– Watering cans
We also recommend bringing:
– An individual supply of drinking water
– Sun protection (sunscreen, hats, etc.)
