Greet and Cheer Ukrainian Veterans as They Arrive For the 51st MCM!
Meet Our Ukrainian Heroes:
• Viktor Shevchenko — Active-Duty Ukrainian Service Member, Team Captain
• Dmytro Soliarenko — Active-Duty Ukrainian Service Member
• Vadym Yanhibaiev — Active-Duty Ukrainian Service Member
• Viacheslav Panchenko — Ukrainian Veteran
Join us in warmly welcoming and cheering on four Ukrainian Heroes of our USUA Veterans Team, established by US Ukrainian Activists (USUA), arriving in Washington, DC, on Thursday, October 22, as part of Team Ukraine to participate in the 51st Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) on Sunday, October 25, 2026!
Since 2024: US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) has proudly represented Ukraine with its own USUA Veterans Team as part of Team Ukraine at the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM).
2016 – 2023: USUA served as a co-sponsor of Team Ukraine at the MCM, before expanding its involvement by establishing its own veterans team in 2024.
We continue our longstanding tradition of warmly welcoming Ukrainian veterans and active-duty military service members upon their arrival, supporting them throughout their stay, and cheering on all Ukrainian runners representing Team Ukraine during the Marine Corps Marathon.
Let’s come together to show our gratitude, support, and solidarity with Ukraine’s Defenders! Your warm welcome will mean so much to our heroes as they prepare to take on the Marine Corps Marathon!
Together, we honor our heroes and stand united in support of Ukrainian veterans!
