Emergency Response to Rebuild Front-line Paramedics Hospitallers’ Base
Russia destroyed the base of the front-line paramedic Battalion, Hospitallers, in Pavlohrad on Thursday night (April 24–25), striking it with two ‘Shahed’ drones.
All three floors of the building burned down—along with everything inside—and evacuation vehicles parked outside were destroyed.
This Pavlohrad base had been with Hospitallers since 2015—throughout 10 years of Russia’s genocidal war against Ukraine.
Hundreds of Hospitallers were equipped and deployed to the front line from this base and returned here for rotations. It was a second home for several generations of Hospitallers—and remains so in the hearts of all who served there.
Hospitallers now urgently need new vehicles and approximately $540,000 (20 million hryvnias) just to rebuild their base to continue their vital mission to save lives in Ukraine.
