Meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky
On February 28, 2025, Nadiya Shaporynska, the President of US Ukrainian Activists, was honored to attend a meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky / Володимир Зеленський at Ukraine House in Washington, D.C.
During the meeting, President Zelensky emphasized the importance of achieving “a just and lasting peace” with “robust security guarantees.”
Earlier that day, after talks with a bipartisan delegation from the U.S. Senate, President Zelensky said, “We take pride in having strategic partners and friends like the United States. We are grateful for the unwavering bicameral and bipartisan support for Ukraine throughout all three years of Russia’s full-scale aggression.”
We extend our deep gratitude to President Volodymyr Zelensky for his unwavering strength, resilience, and dedication to Ukraine and its people. His steadfast leadership in the face of immense challenges has inspired not only Ukrainians but the entire world.
At the meeting, President Zelensky thanked our local Ukrainian-American community for its continued support for Ukraine and its people and urged us to carry on with our vital mission.
