Dear Friends of Ukraine, we warmly invite you to a wonderful musical event in support of Ukrainian Veterans Aid, a program of our nonprofit US Ukrainian Activists (USUA).
The charity concert will feature 15 distinguished performing artists from Musicians for Ukraine.
The inspiring program brings together treasured Ukrainian songs — “Місяць на небі” (Moon in the Sky) and “Їхав козак за Дунай” (A Cossack set out beyond the Danube) — together with masterpieces by Mozart, Grieg, Chopin, Fauré, Tárrega, Rutter, Baillot, Handel/Halvorsen, Höhne, and Ravel, unfolding like a beautiful musical story.
All proceeds will go to support the Ukrainian Veterans Aid program, helping veterans with rehabilitation through sports and participation in the 2026 Army Ten-Miler (ATM) and Marine Corps Marathon (MCM).
This concert is made possible thanks to the cooperation of US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) and Musicians for Ukraine, a group of incredible performing artists, coordinated by Dasha Gabay and Alex Balakersky. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, Musicians for Ukraine have supported Ukraine by donating their time and talent to perform in 20 charity concerts!
We extend our warm thank you to the Georgetown Lutheran Church for hosting our Concert for Ukraine and supporting our cause.
The concert will bring together the following distinguished performers:
Agata Miklavc (violin), Anna Kusner (guitar), Dasha Gabay (piano), Douglas Rogers (guitar), Gersh Chervinsky (violin), Irina Kats (piano), Jason Solounias (piano), Joseph Gotoff (cello), Kathleen Jacobi (flute), Peter Slutsky (voice), Philippe Brunet (cornet), Rebecca Carey (flute), Sasha Beresovsky (piano), Ricky Parrell (saxophone), Will Hurd (viola).
