About Passport DC: EU Open House – Ukraine! 👇

Event Host: Ukraine House

This event falls every year on the first Saturday after Europe Day on May 9. This date marks the signing of the Schuman Declaration on May 9, 1950, which established the European Coal and Steel Community, a multinational entity that would eventually become the European Union as we know it today.

Europe Day is celebrated by opening the doors of EU Embassies or their cultural houses to the public, giving Americans a chance to experience the rich and diverse cultures that make up the European Union. Normally, you’d have to cross the Atlantic to visit the EU — but on Open House day, you just have to cross the street!

📢 Join us for a unique opportunity to explore Ukraine at Ukraine House, in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in the US, as we celebrate Europe Day within the EU Open House 2025 events throughout Washington D.C.

Date: Saturday, May 10
Time: 10 am – 4 pm

We invite you to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Ukraine.
Doors open at 10:00 a.m.
