Roll Call of Nations Wreath Ceremony at VOC Memorial

On April 24, 2025, US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) was honored to participate in the Roll Call of Nations Wreath Laying Ceremony to commemorate the more than 100 million victims of communism worldwide at the Victims of Communism Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Nadiya Shaporynska, President of US Ukrainian Activists, laid the yellow-blue wreath at the Victims of Communism Memorial to pay tribute to the millions of Ukrainian victims of the communist Soviet regime — a regime led by russia, responsible for the Holodomor, mass deportations, political repression, and decades of brutality against the Ukrainian people. The Embassy of Ukraine in the USA took part in the ceremony alongside 15 other embassies and numerous organizations representing various nations.
