Washington DC Marks 1 Year of Full-Scale Russian Invasion of Ukraine
The Ukrainian community invites all friends of Ukraine to join us in marking one year since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. This is a chance to prove that people here in America still support Ukraine as it fights for its very survival against Russia’s invasion and constant war crimes. Please join us!

1 YEAR OF WAR Candlelight Vigil for Ukraine in Washington, D.C.
- When: Feb. 24, 7 PM
- Where: Outside the gates of the DC russian embassy (Boris Nemtsov Plaza)
This event is organized by a wide coalition of Ukrainian-American organizations, with the participation of the Ukrainian Embassy to the USA.
Saturday, Feb. 25
MAIN EVENT: Mass Rally to Mark One Year of Full-Scale Invasion
- When: Feb. 25, 2 PM
- Where: The Lincoln Memorial
This event is organized by a wide coalition of Ukrainian-American organizations, with the participation of the Ukrainian Embassy to the USA.
March Against Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine
- When: Feb. 25, directly after the Lincoln Memorial rally (~4:30 PM)
- Where: From the National Mall to the Russian ambassador’s residence on 16th St.
This “unofficial” march is organized by US Ukrainian Activists.
Immediately following the end of the mass rally at the Lincoln Memorial (above), any participants who wish will join us in marching to the Russian ambassadors residence up on 16th St.
