On March 26, 2022, US Ukrainian Activists directed $1,500 to purchase a SUV Niva to be used by front-line Ukrainian paramedics from one Ukrainian military Unit to provide first aid for wounded civilians and military personnel and to evacuate them from the combat zone in Zaporizhzhia region.
2021/11-2022/02 USUA Supported Veterans Team “Cherkasy ATO Cossacks” FB Fundraiser: https://www.facebook.com/donate/318982546454828/ USUA FB Caption: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4591045414323529&type=3 US Ukrainian Activists transferred the amount of $1061 to the Veterans‘ Soccer Team “Cherkasy ATO Cossacks” / “Черкаські Козаки ATO”on Feb. 9, 2022 to cover their participation in the Ukrainian mini-soccer (2nd league) Championship; transportation expenses of 8 veterans who live in small towns outside of Cherkasy and need to commute; and 4 soccer balls. In the soccer team “Cherkasy ATO Cossacks,” there were veterans, who were wounded or received shell-shock/concussion in the russia’s war in Eastern Ukraine (when they were defending Ukraine after 2014), and rehabilitation through sport was very important for all of them. In November, 2021 as part of their rehabilitation via sport, the team applied to take part in the Ukrainian mini-soccer (2nd league) Championship, which had to run for 4 months. Since 2018, “Cherkasy ATO Cossacks” has been involved in the patriotic education of Ukrainian youth, organized numerous soccer scrimmages and matches. The soccer veterans’ team “Cherkasy ATO Cossacks” was twice a silver medalist of the “Undefeated Cup”/”Кубок Нескорених” and a winner of various Championships in Ukraine!🇺🇦 Футбольна команда “Черкаські Козаки АТО” складається з 38 ветеранів АТО. Команда подала заявку на участь у Чемпіонаті України з Міні-футболу (2 ліга), який буде тривати 4 місяці (у мініфутболі/футзалі взяли участь 14 ветеранів). Серед ветеранів є хлопці, які отримали поранення, контузії або травми. Для їх реабілітації через спорт, а також для мотивації їм конче необхідні тренування та іноді участь у змаганнях. Команда “Черкаські Козаки АТО” з 2018 року займається патріотичним вихованням української молоді, а також проводить з ними товариські ігри. Команда двічі була срібним призером ігор “Кубок Нескорених” та призером різних чемпіонатів в Україні. Дорогі друзі, підтримаймо українських ветеранів “Черкаські Козаки АТО”! 🇺🇦 Слава Україні! USUA sends equipment to the Ukrainian military’s K9 demining unit:
US Ukrainian Activists (USUA) directed $1,917.41 from Oct.-8 Taras Yanitskiy Charity Concert’s proceeds to purchase and send two Trident K9 Helmets, one MOHOC Camera, one Bite Suit Helmet, and one pair of the Guard Dogs Evader 2 Safety Goggles to the K9 Unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the Demining Center #A2641, established in 2017, which main activities are explosives detection, patrolling, perimeter security, as well as checkpoint security.
1) $1,222.90 for two Trident K9 Helmets;
2) $506.75 – for one MOHOC Camera;
3) $126.62 – for one Bite Suit Helmet;
4) $41.14 – for one pair of the Guard Dogs Evader 2 Safety Goggles (with Earth Frame and Smoke AF Lens).
5) $20 – air shipping via Meest to Ukraine
